Looking back over the submission deliverable requirements on the brief we knew we needed to submit a video presentation showcasing and explaining our response to the brief. We decided to film everything using the prototypes we had created and edit in type based descriptions of the concept throughout the video.
We took various shots of the box and its contents within context; we also got some footage of people working creatively within the university to reinforce the message that the package would eventually be for the benefit of students.
We tried to incorporate all elements of information we felt gave our concept a real edge. The biggest of which being the target audience of teachers; this is something we feel we have approached from an unusual angle that could give us an advantage. We also included examples of the contents of the box and other themes the box could take on in the future. I took the reins in editing the video as I had the most knowledge of using Adobe Premiere but as the presentation was the key part of submission Jazz helped with making all the creative timing, transition, colour, sound etc. decisions within the video.
We also included these images within our final submission to give the judges a crystal clear view of the overall aesthetic we created for the project.
